Migdalor Cafe
About This Spot
Stepping into Migdalor Cafe is like finding a quiet pause along Tel Aviv’s bustling shoreline, where the rhythm slows just enough to savor the simple pleasures of sea air and warm company. Nestled right on the promenade near the port, this café welcomes you with an open, airy vibe — a seamless blend of urban edge and natural calm. It’s a place where the steady hum of waves and distant city sounds mingle, inviting both locals and wanderers to linger, whether over a morning coffee or a relaxed sunset moment.
The atmosphere at Migdalor carries a kind of unpretentious charm. The seating, while modest and thoughtfully fixed in place, encourages a casual yet shared experience — as if gently nudging visitors to connect with the flow of the space and the people around them. With a view stretching out to the water, there’s an undeniable tranquility here, broken only by the occasional laughter of friends or the footsteps of passersby taking an afternoon stroll along the promenade.
Food and drink at Migdalor feel effortlessly tied to this coastal setting. Imagine cooling down with an ice coffee or a cold beer after a warm walk, or savoring something simple but thoughtfully crafted — a cappuccino gently steaming in your hands, or a fresh baked pastry that pairs perfectly with the salty breeze. For those who prefer a light meal, the café offers comforting options that suit the easygoing mood: a soft bun filled with egg salad, a cooling cold chocolate, or the day’s soup, served with enough warmth to feel like a quiet embrace.
What truly colors the experience here is the connection to place — the expansive sea views that invite a sense of calm and contemplation, and the unspoken understanding that this café is part pause, part gathering spot. It’s a canine-friendly harbor for those seeking a moment of reprieve, and on sunnier days, the option to spread out a mat and enjoy a modest picnic under the open sky creates a sense of informal celebration. There’s no rush, just gentle invitations to drink, eat, and watch as the day ripples into evening.
Migdalor Cafe is less about polish and more about presence. It’s where moments of quiet observation meet familiar shared rituals — a Friday morning coffee ritual, a serene sunset visit, or a spontaneous stop to enjoy a playful melody carried on the breeze. Here, productivity steps aside for a bit of mindful leisure, and the city’s edge softens, revealing a little pocket of seaside heart.

We stop here every Friday morning for coffee and some croissants. We enjoy it primarily because of the excellent location. However, the seating is uncomfortable. While I understand the need for the bolted-down seating, it significantly detracts from the experience and makes it difficult to relax

Great atmosphere and view, just by the water. You can order online, pickup your order and eat there / nearby. The food is decent, priced fairly for the scene and the service is good. A very nice option.

A cool place along the Tel Aviv promenade near the electricity company building. A magical place, you can order food and drinks via an app. Dog friendly. Delicious food, not enough shade, not enough seating but it's always fun to stroll around there with good music and a magical sea in front.

One of my new all time favorite spots - it simply has the most perfect location. Just off the port of Tel-Aviv, cross the little wooden bridge and enjoy a coffee with a view to remember

We stop by for a short visit to have coffee and some pastries during sunset. This is a very cute café offering some drinks and food and a wonderful view to the beach at the port area with stunning sunset view. The cute thing is that you can take a mat from them and spread it in the area, where a few small tables and shades are lined, and enjoy a picnic and drinks, and the offer a cheese platter to go along with it too. At the back of the place they have a window where you can have takeout ordered to just pick something up, and go to one of the beaches nearby to enjoy it.

A bit pricey and the food can be approved but it is one of the nicest places to seat in town. Both buy the atmosphere and the amazing view.
